Meet Patricia Henderson
I joined RE/MAX Landan over 27 years ago, and my experience spans the full spectrum of Real Estate. Having lived in and around Calgary for the last 35 years, I have experienced all the market trends in the City of Calgary. From Bust to Boom, no matter what the market is like, people are always buying and selling homes.
I have worked with 100’s of buyers and sellers over the years and can still say I thoroughly enjoy my job as a Real Estate agent.
I believe in quality service for all my clients, showing enthusiasm, experience, and market knowledge to ensure an exceptional experience. From our introduction to possession, I will assist the buyer through all the steps to buy a home. Whether you are a first-time buyer or a seasoned buyer, my goal is to make this a positive experience by:

- I will visit your home, to see and hear what you love about your home. After this I will prepare an evaluation to sit down and go through a detailed explanation of the value of your home in todays’ market.
- I will discuss marketing strategies.
- Helping you with preparing or staging your property to assist you in getting maximum dollar for your home in todays market.
- Facilitating showings, negotiating incoming offers, keeping everyone on track, ensuring a smooth process with your lawyer, through to closing.

My husband and I have constructed two family residences from the ground up, from being the general contractor, to at times the labour, has educated me in home construction, and therefore I am able to share that knowledge with you. My husband and I have been married for over 47 years, have renovated many properties. This has helped me stay on top of the housing trends. I will share my experience, knowledge, and any contractors’ names, with you, if renovations are part of your dream home. I also have the experience of living on an acreage for 18 years. Giving me firsthand experience and insight into rural living.
With my 3 adult children, I have the greatest joy of having 4 awesome grandchildren. 1 granddaughter, and 3 grandsons. I love to hear and talk to them about their views of this world, get their help with my electronic devices, and being able to watch them in their sports, Soccer, lots of hockey. I love cheering them on, because in my opinion they are all the best!
I have also been involved in the Rotary Club of Okotoks for the last 11 years. I joined Rotary to be able to give back to the community and help with international projects. This has enabled me to be a more productive person. I have met many great people along the way. I have held many positions over the years, including Past President, Community Service Director, currently Youth Director, as well as Assistant Governor to 3 clubs in our District 5360. In return I get a lot of fulfillments out of volunteering.
For many years I was also on the Children’s Miracle Network Committee for RE/MAX, their charity of choice. I still give a portion of my commissions on every transaction to the Children’s Miracle Network, which directly benefits the Alberta Children’s Hospital.
My Daughter in law, Catherine Rafferty has joined me in Real Estate just over a year ago. Together it has only enhanced the service we are able to offer our clients. Catherine brings fresh ideas to our team, a younger perspective on marketing, humour, and a warm and welcoming experience to our clients. We have similarities but are different, and that is what you will find makes us unique to you.

Meet Catherine Rafferty
Catherine Rafferty is a Calgary native whom loves this amazing city she calls home. Getting to witness the transformation of this vibrant city and the ongoing urban sprawl has been a pleasure and ultimately, let to her desire to get involved in real estate. Joining the family business was an easy transition that has fostered valuable experience and expertise when it comes to Calgary’s fluctuating Real Estate Market.
Catherine joined the RE/MAX Landan Real Estate brokerage and has teamed up with her mother in-law, Patricia Henderson. Patricia has 27 years of experience in real estate, making both her experience and longevity a wealth of knowledge. When combined with Catherine’s enthusiasm and fresh ideas, the Henderson – Rafferty team is committed to providing outstanding customer service and real estate advice.
Prior to establishing a career in Real Estate, Catherine completed a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies from the University of Calgary in 2012. Her and her partner (Nathan) welcomed their first son Caden, making for a very eventful year. In 2014, they welcomed their second son, Riley. Both boys having found their passion playing hockey with the Knights Hockey Association, making for a very busy household.
Becoming a mother has taught Catherine not only the importance of time management and the ability to multi task, but also the importance of continuously connecting with others, nurturing friendships, and fostering confidence and trust.
Catherine had the privilege of raising our sons over the last few years while working with a fantastic team as a part time professional organizer. This valuable experience has honed her organization skills and taught her how to assess, stage and make a house look fantastic for marketing.
Catherine and her family have lived in the community of Midnapore for many years. They extensively renovated their first home, and now are completing their second major renovation. This experience, although sometimes challenging, has provided Catherine with vast knowledge when it comes to home renovations, and where the best value can be added.
When Catherine is not assisting her real estate clients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, and of course cheering her sons on at their hockey games!
